This is a really good restaurant. This is probably one of the main sleepers in Norfolk.
    Good food. Good pricing.
    Now the area. Meh lol.
It shares a building with a strip club an open air drug market  and a bodega so the kind of things you see while waiting for you food is loose but it's worth it. For the most part it's chill. ( see small pack of dudes choking and slapping one of their friends trying to get him to tighten up because he's too drunk and about to be kick out of the strip club)I can only assume Hahahha. Typical child labor happening but unfortunately they're the only ones that speak fluent English.

I've never had a problem ordering from this joint.  The vast majority of times I've had their food is when we've done group orders for work from Kin's Wok.

Kin's Wok is your average, everyday hole in the wall type Chinese restaurant.  The service is good when you ordering in person and the place is clean.  All of the food is cooked to order.

I ordered the wings and General Tso's chicken extra spicy to go.  The wings were crispy and tasted good.  For the record, they come without any sauce over them.  The General Tso's chicken was good. Good, solid Chinese food you'll get here.

Kin's Wok has been my absolute favorite Chinese food spot for the past 11 years. I started coming here when my now husband and I started dating. He has been coming here since middle school (late 90s early 00s)
No matter where we are living at the time, we will take the drive to this location.
We usually call our orders in on the way there for pick up.
My favorite dish to order is the shrimp and broccoli combination plate. YUMMMM. I love that the shrimp are a good size and the broccoli is always fresh. At other places they either only give you tiny shrimp or barely any shrimp at all.
I love their egg rolls too. My husband's favorite are the shrimp egg rolls.

We ordered $60 worth of delivery earlier this evening. Not so good as it used to be in the past.

The egg rolls were as expected. Awesome! The rest of the order, not so much.

The peppered chicken that was ordered *spicy* was disappointing. No pepper, no spiciness, nothing special. It was as if they threw this dish together and didn't care whether it was good or not. It literally had no taste. We wouldn't order it again.

The shredded beef with vegetables which was requested twice in our order, the same. We paid close to $20 for this from the menu (one as a combination dinner, the other as a quart) and both were disappointing. No spiciness, nothing to make it stand out on the menu. We wouldn't order it again.

The House rice ordered? Yes, it was okay - but still without any spiciness.

We're thinking that we'll order from another Chinese place in the future. Kins Wok at Wards Corner just isn't as good as it used to be.

I would suggest that you look elsewhere unless you are so hungry that you don't care about receiving really good food. It's edible but disappointing.

We had a long day and it was late Google searched a place to get a bite to eat at 10 Pm
Glad to find this place. I got mixed vegetables with curry, my friend got shrimp chop suey. Don't really know why but my friend did not like his food at all.
I enjoyed my food. The vegetables...... A good assortment were cooked perfectly (not over cooked) I was hungry so I ate most of it. I came to find out after I finished eating; the curry sauce is made with beef broth. OMG!
This is not acceptable for me. I wish I had inquired before I ordered.  Then I could have choose some thing eles.
Other then my blip in the curry. This place is good. Has a large menu with lots of choices. Also if you don't want msg they can accommodate.
